Chapter 30: A Bloody Mess

Sally lands on one of the monsters causing her and the monster to fall off the building together.

'Yes!'

She pulled out the blade that was connected to the different types of gasses and poisons in her bag.

*SQUELCH*

"What does this one do again?"

Blood squirted out from wherever the monster had a hole.

"HOLY SHIT!"

Sally laughed maniacally.

*Crash*

She crashed on top of the monster's body on the ground. Monsters ignored her for a moment as they pursued the top of the roof.

"HEY!"

She pulled out a liquid out of her pocket and poured it all over herself.

All of the monsters on the wall towards the roof instantly started to run at her.

"HAha…yes…"

Sally smiled as the creatures edged closer to her in harmony jumping towards her.

Archie fell from the roof as a grapple from his hip extended out and pulled him across from building to building.

'There's a lot of them…Seems like Sally is enjoying herself,'

A monster jumped towards him and he looked at it with a smile.

'Guess I should to.'

He kicked an arrow into the monster's mouth as its back end opened up like a bear trap collapsing on the beast's lower jaw. The front end went all the way through its mouth towards the ground. The monster was pulled down within an instant by its mouth. Archie looked back down swinging by the grappler he aimed down with his bow.

He shot.

*BANG*

It dispersed into multiple arrows as the others found other targets, all hitting a monster they started to beep.

'What is that…1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11, oh wait no 12.'

*Multiple tiny explosions*

'That one is always fun.'

Archie looks over at Sally on the ground now pouring a liquid all over herself.

"Hey Ani, what's she doing?"

Ani sat at a super computer in her room with a hot coffee next to her.

"Well she asked me to make her some monster attractant."

"Well how effective is it?"

***

"Anything within a hundred feet radius will be on her in seconds."

"Jesus Ani!"

Sally smiled under her mask as the monsters started to pile atop each other in front of her. She got her blade out and started to run forward.

"You guys didn't think I'd let you get first bites now did you?"

*Squelch*

"IM FUCKING CRAZY!"

She slashed at the pile of monsters balancing herself on top of monster heads below her.

*Shink* *Shink* *Shink*

Arrows shot in front of Sally. She looked up.

"You asshole!"

*Booms*

Sally was pushed back by the air explosions as she flipped and slipped catching herself on both feet before hitting a nearby car.

"Those were all mine!"

"You weren't fast enough."

Sally stepped up to Archer as suddenly the ground trembled. As the sounds of a hammer swings and squelching through monsters came through, so did the roar of a greater beast.

Amon watched as Sally and Archie stood next to each other.

"I know what you're thinking about right now Amon,"

Zefu turned to Amon as he stood at the edge of the roof watching everything.

"And I can somewhat agree with you but to kill monsters you must be more of a monster yourself. Think about it, hunters become hunters when they find a way to kill their prey. If that doesn't make sense let me tell you this. In common history people used to associate rats as prey to birds, however around 14 years ago rats started to formulate ways to trick birds into hunting them. As soon as the bird made contact with the trap, hundreds of rats would jump on it."

Amon watched Zefu talk in serious awe.

"The only difference in this situation is that through and through we are just better than our prey."

He smiled as The Quiet Girl rubbed against his leg like a cat.

'I don't know how he knew but it is hard to tell in this situation who is the monster in this battle.'

Linen jumped out of the hole with monsters gnawing at his legs.

*Snip*

An arrow went through one of the monster's heads as Linen kicked the other one off.

"Where have you been, Loud Mouth?"

"I got occupied."

Sally instantly had a light bulb moment as she smiled as more monsters came out.

"Come here Linen!"

He moved towards Sally as he swung and crushed a few monsters with his hammer. Sally's blade was taken off the tip of the tube as she stuck a sprayer on it.

"Execute plan 3!"

Linen grabbed Sally, throwing her upwards towards the roof of the building they were nearest. It was across from Zefu's building as Sally gave him a smile.

'What monstrous strength!'

Amon watched.

Sally turned a nob on her spray as she started to blast a liquid all over but mostly into the hole that Linen had first created.

"NOW!"

Archie grappled up to the side of the building as he loaded 6 six arrows and aimed them towards the ground.

'Good aim Sally, I'm impressed.'

He shot the arrows into the air suddenly as they all split into multiple arrows with bright blue tips. They arched in the sky as everyone watched the arrows fall down.

*Multiple tinks* *BOOM*

It was like a blue volcano emerged out of the hole and covered the ground in blue flames killing off multiple monsters.

'They're…good.'

The ground crumbled beneath them.

The fires diminished from some unknown force.

"Who dares Slay my offspring!"

*Slither*

A large monster slithered out of the hole as its bottom half resembled that of a snake and its top half was a woman's body. Its presence had put out the fire.

'A Monster Queen shit!'

"What in the greek mythology fuck is that?"

Sally jumped as it looked her way.

"EW, it looked at me!"

*CRACK* *CRASH*

Sally's mask was nearly destroyed as the monster had slammed her through the building she was on.

'So fast!'

Sally was shocked.

"SALLY!"

The monster dragged out Sally Holding onto her by the head.

'Shit only if I had time to switch my blade back onto my tube. I'd have this fucking scaly bitch off me by now.'

Archer shot two arrows at the beast.

*Tink* *Tink*

The arrows hit the ground.

'Damn, that's some tough skin. Guess I'll have to pull them out.'

Archie reached in his bag for a certain type of arrow. The air tensed around everyone.

'What the?'

Amon watched as he felt restricted from moving freely.

Archer and Linen watched as the monster chest started to fluctuate. It's body started to glow orange.

"Run!"

Ani yelled into everyone's ear.

'Sally…'

Archer thought to himself. The monster got ready to blow its attack.

*SLICE*

Everyone looked as the monster's throat was slit. The orange goop was mixed with blood as it all fell out the cut.

*Flop*

Amon looked at Zefu as he stood alone.

"What happened?"

Zefu turned to him with a slight smile.

"She's quite the monster."

Amon realized that the quiet girl was gone, looking back at the monster's body he saw her with long nails licking the blood off the body and her hands.

"Her name is Shojia."

"HAHA, Shojia I love you!"

Sally ripped off her mask then hugged and kissed Shojia on the forehead. Shojia had a blank expression

"Food hurt friend."

"AWWWWwwww! You are the cutest!"

"Food."

Shojia nibbled on Sally's shoulder. Archer put his bow on his back.

'Idiots.'

'They are all crazy, but…they're good at what they do.'

Amon watched them from the roof.
