Chapter 47: A Princess vs A Prince

'There are 5 classified types of demons at this current time: Yami demons, Sound Demons, Moon Demons, Sun Demons, and Unnatural Demons. However, in recent times the D.E.O. managed to make a deal with the Sun Demons…therefore they became the Sun Angels. Demons who were to aid humans in the race of bringing extinction to the demon race. Sun angels were always looked at as the strongest demons in terms of raw strength and ability. Yami demons were seen as the most dangerous, Sound were seen as the most troublesome, and until recently Moon demons weren't seen as much of a threat till the Pink Parasite came around and made us look like fools.'

Amon looked at Kazuki who was standing over him as Kazuki reached his hand out to him.

'In this battle, I'd be seeing the fastest versus the strongest.'

"Mind telling me anything I should know?"

Amon snapped out of his train of thought as he realized Kazuki hadn't been informed of anything.

"She's a sound demon with what seems to be a hallucination technique. Right now she doesn't seem to be all there so maybe we can take advantage of that. I think if we get to her head enough maybe we can force mistakes."

Kazuki looked at Amon and then back at Ena who was still salivating.

"You mind helping me?"

"Of course!"

Amon tightened his grip on his blade.

"Then try to stay out of my way as much as possible."

"Wha-"

*BIFF*

Kazuki grabbed a hold of Ena's right arm as she attacked him at a speed Amon hadn't seen yet in this battle. Each laugh that erupted from her mouth made her crazier it seemed. Her appearance was horror-like as blood from her left eye wound had reopened. There was blood all over her body once again but every other wound on her body had been completely healed. As if they never happened.

"I heard about some demons wanting to play dress up as officers but I figured it was only a joke!"

Ena brought her other arm up ready to attack.

'Huh?'

"You're fast!"

Kazuki grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up a little bit.

"But that's about all you got going."

*Slam*

Kazuki held her onto the ground as the area started to brighten up around them, his Aspect had such an influence it made the rubble around them start floating. Ena had much to say but looked red in the face being choked to the ground.

'The sun might not be up yet but I can still use what I've saved up for now.'

*Boom*

A bright beam of light appeared, enveloping Kazuki and Ena. As Amon watched he suddenly became confused.

'What is he doing?'

Amon watched as the beam of light dissipated. Kazuki stood alone but it was as if he was fighting something.

'Her hypnosis!'

"KAZUKI! BEHIND YOU!"

Kazuki turned in disbelief as he made contact with an enthralled Ena.

'How'd she do that?'

Kazuki pushed Ena away as she slowly landed gracefully with ideas racing in her head.

'I'm starting to feel rejuvenated…this guy is strong but he's a Sun Demon. Meaning the sooner I kill him the easier it'll be without the sun he has a limited power source!'

Ena wiped some blood off of her face as her left eye started to reform. Her Aspect had been peaking at such a fast rate in the last few hours of constant battle. Every near-death experience felt like another step up a staircase of power for her Karada to get stronger and stronger.

'Tonight has been one shitty night but…'

Kazuki's Aspect started to radiate a strong energy as he stared down Ena.

'These pests have made me reach new levels of power and this boy is my ultimate play toy!'

Kazuki made the motions as if he were holding a bow. He started to pull back, and suddenly, a bright yellow bow and arrow made out of his aspect appeared next to him.

"Burn."

He let go of it as it was instantaneously shot at Ena, but it went through Ena and around back towards Kazuki.

"Doesn't matter how much you try to hide from this attack it will hit you!"

It went through Kazuki and struck Ena who appeared behind him.

'What?'

Ena thought to herself as she started to be burned up by a beam of light that appeared from the sky.

"Your invisibility or whatever you are pulling off with your Karada is useless if my sunlight can reverse it!"

Amon kneeled next to Archer who was bleeding badly.

"We should get you patched up."

Archer looked at him dumbfounded.

"Really!"

"Oh shut up Archie!"

Gas-Tank walked up to them.

"Where were you?"

Amon asked as he realized she disappeared for a second. Gas-Tank thought about it while scratching the back of her head.

"I think I was drowning in quicksand or something…I don't know, wasn't a good time though, this bitch has some freaky abilities though."

"Yeah, you got that right look what she did to me!"

Archer said, pointing to the hole in his chest.

"Woah!"

Amon was shocked as he went to apply pressure to the wound.

"Aye aye get off of me."

"You're bleeding out though!"

"So?"

Archer slowly got up as his suit started to glow blue again.

"We have a mission to finish and I don't think that guy over there knows exactly what she's capable of."

Archer flicked his bow open. Gas Tank then leaned into Amon's ear.

"I give it another 5 seconds."

"Huh for what?"

Amon turned to her confused.

*Biff*

Archer fell over on the ground as his suit stopped glowing. Amon was in disbelief.

*Beep*

"Hey uh…Archie is alive but his blood chart is all over the place. I'm sending in an emergency med but they won't come in unless that demon is either dealt with or is moved somewhere else."

"Shit…okay thanks Ani!"

Gas-Tank took off her mask as she revealed her slightly scratched-up face.

"Sally your tank should have some–"

"Yeah yeah, I'll keep him alive and whatnot."

Sally looked at Amon annoyed.

"He's just unconscious just so you know. He's weird with his own blood."

Amon looked back at the Kazuki and Ena fight as they were in hand-to-hand combat.

"Go save the day Amon."

She smiled as Amon looked back at her, he shook his head in agreement. Amon started to walk towards the battle.

'I can keep all of us alive…Sally, Archie, Shojia, even this blonde kid. There's a hole in her hypnosis that only I can see. That is how I'll make sure victory is the only outcome.'

Kazuki grabbed Ena's leg as she attempted to jump over him, he pulled her back down slamming her into the ground. She huffed, slipping from his grip by breaking her ankle and then spinning around on the ground. She then positioned herself to kick Kazuki in the face.

'I'm surprised she's fighting in such a condition. There's no doubt about it that she is most likely completely on a high of battle at the moment. Still in such a condition, she shouldn't pose a threat to me…right?'

Kazuki took the kick to the face prompting him to strengthen his stance to remain unfazed. Ena then kicked off of him doing a back flip as she loaded her hand with what shuriken she had left. Dozens of shuriken then were thrown mid-air at a great speed. Kazuki distinguished them with a ray of light as Ena seemingly went through the ray of light kicking Kazuki back just a few feet.

"So the rock can be pushed huh!"

She yelled as she then went to attack again.

*Boom*

A ray of light was suddenly cast from the heavens on her by Kazuki.

"You moved me because I allowed it…You are of no threat to me."

The light disappeared as Ena's torched body was revealed she coughed up blood in a violent manner.

"Do you give your life yet?"

Kazuki looked down on Ena.

His question was met with silence…complete silence.

"...Do you?"

Ena asked quietly. Kazuki raised his hand but something felt off about his surroundings.

'I'm running low on energy as of now…but there's something else. I can't hear a thing.'

He went to speak to her but suddenly nothing came out.

'Shit…'

His light sparked but diminished.

'I've run out of energy!'

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

Ena's bones cracked as she stood up but her skin and body started to completely heal. Her Demon Aspect was raging as her Karada had fully enveloped her body in the contorting way her Aspect fluctuated. She took one step as the ground beneath her cracked.

"Princess…Demon….Sound…ENA…Father!....Mother!...Princess!"

'She's completely lost her mind…If anything her body is completely being run by her Aspect. As if it's the only thing keeping her alive…I'll be fine as soon as the sun comes up!'

Her body was bare as her skin was all healed from the burns and cuts she had taken during her battles throughout the night. Ena was now primed in a state where after unlocking her 2nd State Karada and being able to cast her techniques without Incantations, the only problem and cost was her mind. The perfect sound demon was being born in front of Zefu's division and it was up to Kazuki to nullify her.

'The only problem is…'

Kazuki watched as Ena seemingly had lost her mind and was set on one thing surviving.

'...That's only if I manage to survive until the sun rises.'
